What:             Junior U19’s 15km Open Ocean Race
When:            8am Registration with 9am Race Start
Where:          Avarua Wharf

Junior U19’s Men and Women will race together.

What:             Junior U14’s 4km and U16’s 6km Lagoon Race
When:            1pm Registration with 2pm Race Start
Where:          Muri Beach in front of Sails Restaurant

Junior U19’s, U16’s and U14’s Men and Women will race together.

Following the U14 and U16 race, our sponsors for the Junior Vaka Eiva, Pacific Resort, will host the medal and trophy presentation for all top place getters. It will be a great opportunity for the Juniors to mix and talk about  the races.   Also a good time for Overseas paddlers to make friends with the Local paddlers to see if they can get a lift to watch the Round Raro Races on Friday!!

For all other paddlers, take it easy and get yourself ready for the big one! For those that aren’t paddling in the Round Raro Races, check the special souvenir edition of Cook Islands News to find the best vantage points to view the crews as they battle their way around the island.
